Here are some pictures (courtesy of Wes Jewett) from the first
Volks-Vair Fair car show held in Shrewsbury at
Hebert's Candy Mansion on Aug. 5, 2000 and Sponsored by
Colonial Volkswagen. This was a joint effort of
The Bug Club of New Hampshire (take the link to our NEW club website by Bob Eliott) and
Colonial Corvairs. The common link of course is "air-cooled". Thanks to concerted efforts of
Gerry Anderson (President of The Bug Club) the show was an unbelievable success for a premeir car show. Classes included Beetles to '67, '68 and up, Split window Bus, Bay window, Thing, Convertibles, Ghia, Custom VW, Buggies-Baja's and Special Interest. (
